Car Insurance Porsche (Car Insurance). How should an unmarked intersection in a parking lot be treated? How should an unmarked intersection in a parking lot be treated? ...specifically, a four way intersection, with no stop signs, in Washington. Are you supposed to treat it as a four way stop, or a four way yield to whoever is there first? Was recently t-boned by a car in a parking lot while taking a left turn in a parking lot - the driver totaled the driver side of my car (she was speeding, had time to stop, and I was in the intersection first, as shown by how far back my car was hit). I'm curious to know who's supposed to stop/wait in that situation, not that it'll do much good at this point. The one who gets there first has the right of way. If arriving at the same time then the person to the others right has it. The same rule would apply if you were both driving boats in the middle of a lake. Trouble is there is widespread erroneous belief that the person who is on the main drag has the right of way. If you were hit on the drivers side, you were jacked, because you were to that other persons right, sorry to hear. watch out for everyone, they think they own the road. Should i Become a Games Programmer Or A Pilot? hi i am wondering what job i want when im older but i really cant decide. i go on my computer every day and play games like minecraft where i have my own server. but i also like aviation and how planes work etc. the problem with programming is i think its very hard to learn even the basics and it may be hard. The problems with being a pilot are i don't really like heights but that doesn't bother me on a plane, but im quite nervous about if something goes wrong then lots of lives on that plane may be lost in seconds. The last bad thing about being a pilot is that i want to have a family but that would be unlikely because of all the different cities and hotels i would be going to if i was a pilot. Please assist me in my choice because i am very stuck on my decision. car insurance. Auto parts : Sun Visor Storage Jaguar 1997. Sunroof Deflector Jeep 1998. Supercharger Gasket Kia 1999. Receiving a duplicate title from the DMV? Receiving a duplicate title from the DMV? My husband and I bought a car a couple years back with a loan provided by a credit union. The car has now been paid off and the credit union mailed the title. Problem is the title was lost in the mail so we now need to apply for a duplicate. Filling out the paperwork and I have a question....I tried looking up the info, but it's not entirely clear to me. Under the registered owner's info ( us ) I need to list the " legal owner of record ( lienholder/title holder ) not name of owner above ". Should this be the credit union? I suppose that would be the obvious answer, I just don't want to have to go down to the DMV and then find out I had the wrong info down. Any help is appreciated :) Thanks!! car insurance. Porsche . How to Fix a Big Crack in Your RadiatorThe radiator is a crucial part of your car's cooling system and keeps the engine from overheating by cycling liquid coolant through the engine. This absorbs heat and cools the engine. A crack in the radiator will cause fluid to leak and prevent it from getting where it needs to go. This will very quickly cause your engine to overheat. If you continue to run a hot engine, you run a serious risk of causing major and costly damage to the engine. A crack in the radiator can be repaired at home inexpensively but may only be a temporary fix. If the crack is very large, you may wish to consider replacing the radiator. Difficulty:Moderate Instructions Things You'll Need Gallon of water Sandpaper J-B Weld Putty knife Piece of wood Step by Step : 1 Locate the crack. With the engine shut off and cool, remove the radiator cap and pour a gallon of water through it. Look to see where water is leaking out onto the ground. 2 Prepare the crack to be sealed. Make sure the surface is clean and there is no grease, dirt or rust around the crack. If there is rust, sand it off with a piece of sandpaper. 3 Mix the liquid weld compound. The most common is J-B Weld and is available at your local hardware store. It will come with two tubes, one contains epoxy and the other hardener. Squeeze equal amounts of product from the tubes onto a piece of scrap wood and mix them together with the putty knife. 4 Apply the liquid weld to the crack. With the putty knife, apply the mixed compound to the crack making sure it is filled in and completely covered. Smooth out the surface. Let it dry for 12-15 hours before operating the vehicle. Be sure to top off the coolant before taking it out on the road. Tips & Warnings The first time you operate the vehicle after the repair, watch the temperature gauge to make sure the problem has been corrected. Do not continue to operate a vehicle if it is overheating. Doing so will cause serious damage to your engine. ResourcesJbweld.net
Porsche . How to Convert Horsepower to BTU/HRA British thermal unit (BTU) is a measurement of the amount of heat energy required to raise the temperature of one pound of water. BTU per hour (BTU/Hr) is a measurement of power. Horsepower (hp), also a measurement of power, is sometimes measured at certain rotation frequencies. Rotation frequencies are revolutions per minute or RPMs. Converting horsepower to BTU/Hr uses a simple calculation that doesn't use RPM levels. One horsepower equals 2544 BTU/Hr. Difficulty:Easy Instructions Things You'll Need CalculatorConverting Horsepower (hp) to British Thermal Units Per Hour (BTU/Hr) Step by Step : 1 Take the horsepower number (hp) and drop the rpm level, if it has an rpm level. If the horsepower is 20 hp @ 2,000 rpm, drop the @ 2,000 and only use the 20 hp. 2 Multiply the horsepower number by 2544. 3 Use the number you obtain from multiplying horsepower by 2544. This will be horsepower (hp) measured in British thermal units per hour (BTU/Hr). If you are using 20 hp and multiplied it x 2544, you should get 50,880 BTU/Hr. *** All vehicles have a safety catch that stops the released hood from popping all the way open. The purpose of the safety catch is to prevent the hood from accidentally coming open and obscuring your vision while you're driving. V Once the hood is up, it usually stays up on its own, unless you need to prop it up with a safety rod. If you haven't the faintest idea of how to get your hood open, head for the full-service bay the next time you go in for gas and ask the attendant to show you how to open the hood. You may pay a little more for fuel, but the lesson will be worth it, and you can get your windows washed and your tire pres sure checked for nothing! (If you're really short of cash, just ask for $5 worth of gasoline; the difference in cost will be negligible.) Part I: Getting Started. Here's how to open the hood of your car yourself: 113

Either consult your owner's manual, or try to remember the last time a service station attendant opened the hood of your car. Did he or she ask you to pull a lever inside the vehicle? Or did he or she go directly to the front grill? If the hood release is at the front of the car, look around and through the grill and feel under the grill and behind the bumper to find a handle, lever, arm, or button. Then pull, press, or push front to back and side to side on the thing you find until it releases the hood. If the hood release is inside the car, press, push, or pull it until you hear the hood pop open. The hood will open a little, but it will probably be stopped by the safety catch: a metal lever that, when pressed one way or the other, releases the hood so that it can open all the way. 2. With one hand, raise the hood as far as it will go. With the other hand, feel along the area between the hood and the grill for the safety catch. Release it and then raise the hood the rest of the way. 3. Secure the hood if necessary. Porsche . What are the future uses of propane?
Ford F150 (Heritage) Super Cab. * If the hood stays up all by itself, fine. If it doesn't, look for a safety rod that's attached either to the underside of the hood or to the bottom edge of the hood opening. Either lift or lower the rod (depending on where it's located) and fit the end of it into the slot that's provided to hold it in place. On some vehicles, the hood is held up by two gas-pressurized cylinders known as hood shocks. If the gas has leaked out of these units, be careful because the hood could come down at any moment. If that's the case, replace these units or secure the hood with a broom handle or similar object." The Safe Way to Use a Jack The most obvious reason to jack up a car is to change a tire, but other jobs, such as inspecting brakes, may also require you to get under the vehicle. (Even if you're reed-thin enough to squeeze yourself between the pavement and the underside of your car, you still need room to move around and manipulate tools.) Chapter 2 has detailed information about the different types of jacks, as well as items such as jack stands (essential) and creepers (nonessential, but nice). This section explains how to use a jack safely and efficiently. The next section shows you how to change a tire after the vehicle is in the air. Chapter 1: Things Every Driver Should Know 1 7 Jacks are used only to get a vehicle off the ground. They should never be used to hold a vehicle in place. Even if you're simply changing a tire, you need to make sure that you've blocked the other wheels so that the car doesn't roll off the jack. You must use jack stands when you work underneath your car; if you don't, you run the risk of serious injury or even death. People have been crushed to death when vehicles that were improperly secured fell on them. Before you attempt to jack up your vehicle, observe the following safety precautions: Never change a tire on a freeway or highway. Not only can you be seriously injured, but you can also fall prey to carjackers. Don't exit the car Porsche . What is the most popular selling sport utility vehicle for this year?
